GOAL: Convey a numerical data visually and with minimal text.
The Calendar project aims to visually represent evolving information, ideas, or data across time. I had the freedom to choose any topic and timeframe I wished, as long as I presented my data in a calendar format.
For my project, I decided to showcase the number of steps I took throughout the month of December. The effective concept I settled on involved obscuring each day's number with my shoe print. The degree to which the number is obscured indicates the level of activity for that day; the more covered and less visible the number, the more steps I walked, while the less covered and more visible the number, the fewer steps I took.
