GOAL: Work with clients and teams to create multiple lobby boards that convey a variety of information.
For this project, I was put into a team of four to compete to create theatre lobby boards for ASU's Dramaturgy. The boards were to be used for Dramaturgy's 2023 rendition of "Kill Move Paradise," by playwright James Ijames.
Our team's idea for this project was to show the idea of growing up through a sketchbook. The first couple of boards start out very lively, colorful, messy and bright, similar to a young child. As the boards go on they slowly start to get more refined, strict and colorless showing the idea of growing up. They are meant to showcase the theme of childhood innocence and the loss that are experienced in the play. The drawings on the boards are themes, motifs and items mentioned or shown in the play.
